Zoe Sugg

Zoe Elizabeth Sugg (born 28 March 1990) is an English fashion and beauty vlogger. She is best known by her fans and viewers on YouTube as Zoella.

Personal life

Sugg is the older sister to YouTuber Joe Sugg, who is known on the site as ThatcherJoe. She is currently dating Alfie Deyes, known on YouTube as PointlessBlog.

Career

Zoe Sugg created her blog Zoella in February 2009 and as of March 2014 it gets 1.5 million unique visits a month. The fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog expanded into a YouTube channel in 2009^. Her main channel, Zoella, first named 'Zoella280390' after her birth date, is mostly fashion, beaut hauls and "favorites" videos (where she shows her favourite products); her second channel, MoreZoella, contains mostly vlogs where she lets her viewers see what she is doing that day. Sugg also appears alongside many other YouTubers on the channel DailyMix, which is managed by Gleam Futures. Sugg has done many collaborations on her main channel 'Zoella' with other Youtubers including; Tanya Burr, Alfie Deyes, Tyler Oakley, Troye Sivan, Grace Helbig and many others.
In 2013, Sugg was named as one of the NCS's "ambassadors", helping to promote the newly launched youth service.
Sugg is influential through social media, being mentioned by The Telegraph as one of "Britain's most influential Tweeters" in 2013.
As of March 2014, Sugg's main YouTube channel has over 4 million subscribers and over 140 million views, and is the 92nd most subscribed channel on the website. She also has over 1 million followers on both Twitter and Instagram.

Awards and nominations

Sugg won the 2011 Cosmopolitan Blog Award in the 'Best Established Beauty Blog' category and went on to win the 'Best Beauty Vlogger' award the following year.She was awarded the 2013 "Best British Vlogger" award at the Radio 1 Teen Awards, and received a nomination for the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards in the newly established "Favourite Vlogger" category.
